Oceanside to Las Vegas: 330 desert miles on I-15
This is one of the most-driven moving routes in the West. Our truck heads inland from Oceanside, picks up I-15 N, and runs through Riverside, up and over the Cajon Pass, past Barstow, and across the Mojave into the Las Vegas valley. It is roughly 330 miles and about 5 hours of driving, so it is typically a load-one-day, deliver-the-next move.
Interstate, not just a local hop
Because you are crossing from California into Nevada, this is a federally regulated interstate move. We run it under our USDOT and MC authority, and your shipment travels on a single dedicated truck with GPS tracking, not consolidated with other people’s freight.
What the drive is like
The Cajon Pass is the one piece of real climbing; after that it flattens into open desert. The bigger factor is heat. From late spring into early fall the stretch past Barstow runs hot, so we depart early and protect anything sensitive to temperature. Winter is straightforward, though we watch the Cajon for the rare snow advisory.
Why binding flat-rate
On interstate moves the classic trap is a low phone estimate followed by a reweigh and a fat invoice at delivery. We quote a binding flat rate after walking your home, so the price is locked before the truck rolls. I-15 is toll-free, so there are no surprise road charges either. Lock your date a week or two ahead during peak summer and month-end windows.
