These terms cover how you use our website and what to expect when you book a move with us. We quote a flat rate in writing and honor it. You’re responsible for giving us accurate information about your move, and a few things like cash, jewelry, and hazardous materials we can’t transport. If something goes wrong, contact us and we’ll work with you under our coverage.
About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the website and services provided by Buzzing Along Movers, a moving company based in Oceanside, California. By using our website, requesting a quote, or booking a move, you agree to these terms. Should you disagree with these terms, please refrain from using our site or services.
Our services
Buzzing Along Movers provides local and long-distance moving services using our own trucks and our own employed, uniformed, background-checked crew. We operate under California CPUC (Cal-T) authority for intrastate moves and USDOT/MC authority for interstate moves. We do not subcontract your move to outside carriers.
Quotes and pricing
We provide flat-rate written quotes based on the information you give us and, where applicable, an in-person or photo survey of your belongings. The price quoted is the price paid, provided the move matches what was described. If the actual scope changes significantly, for example added items, additional stops, or access conditions we were not told about, we will discuss any adjustment with you before proceeding.
Booking and payment
A move is confirmed once you approve your written quote and we agree on a date. Some long-distance or specialty jobs may require a deposit to reserve the truck and crew, which we will disclose in writing before you commit. Payment is due as stated on your quote or invoice. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking.
Cancellations and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a local move with reasonable notice at no charge. For jobs that required a deposit, the refund terms will be explained when you book. Please notify us as soon as your plans change so we can adjust our schedule.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your move, including inventory, addresses, access conditions, and dates. You are responsible for arranging any building, HOA, or gate access and for telling us about parking restrictions, stairs, elevators, or long carries in advance so we can plan and price accordingly.
Items we cannot move
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport certain items, including cash, jewelry and other high-value valuables, important documents, firearms, hazardous materials, flammables, perishable food, plants, and pets. Please keep these items with you. We are not responsible for items we have advised should not be transported.
Liability and claims
We carry $1 million in cargo coverage and handle your belongings with care. In the unlikely event of loss or damage to items in our care, contact our office promptly and we will begin a claim under the coverage and valuation terms applicable to your move. Our liability is limited as provided by applicable California and federal moving regulations and the valuation option selected on your paperwork.

The content on this website is provided for general information. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may update or remove content at any time without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date, and continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated terms.
