Movers in Encinitas, CA
Encinitas is really a few small towns stitched together along the coast: Leucadia and Cardiff hugging CA-101, downtown Encinitas, and Olivenhain spread out inland. The surf-town charm comes with real moving headaches, mostly tied to narrow streets and no place to put a truck. We’ve worked all of them and plan each move around the block it’s actually on.
Beach Blocks and Coast Hwy 101
The streets off Coast Hwy 101 in Leucadia and Cardiff were never sized for a moving truck. Parking is scarce, lanes are tight, and a 26-footer parked wrong stops traffic cold. We scout the address ahead of time and, when the block can’t take the big rig, we stage on a wider street and shuttle in with a smaller vehicle. It’s slower on paper but it keeps your move from becoming a neighborhood incident.
Bluff Cottages and Pianos
A lot of the older coastal homes are bluff-side cottages with steep, narrow stairs. When there’s a piano in one of them, Tavo’s specialty crew takes it. They bring the board, the straps and enough hands to walk it down without scraping the walls or rushing the turn. We’ve done this on streets where the truck couldn’t even park out front.
Inland Olivenhain
Olivenhain is a different animal: flatter, bigger lots, longer driveways. The carries are longer but the parking is easier, so we crew it for distance rather than tight access. Wherever you are in Encinitas, our trucks and our background-checked crew do the work, and the flat-rate price we write down is what you pay. Call (888) 711-4778.
