Moving a lifetime, gently
Downsizing after decades in the same North County home is as much emotional as physical. We move at your pace, sort with you instead of around you, and treat the things that matter most like they matter most. Gabe built this service for the parents and grandparents of the families we have moved for years.
What the price covers
Patient sorting and downsizing, white-glove wrapping for heirlooms and china, clear labeling of daily essentials, and full setup at the new place, beds made and furniture placed.
How the day goes
We start by sorting what comes, what goes to family, and what gets donated, with no clock pressure and no one rushing a hard decision about a thirty-year-old dining set. Then we pack, wrap the breakables individually, move, and set up the new home, beds made and the daily essentials within reach, so the first night in a smaller place or a senior community feels lived-in rather than half-unpacked.
What is NOT included
We are movers, not an estate-sale or medical-care service. We place the furniture, but arranging a senior community’s move-in paperwork, hauling donations to a charity, or running an estate liquidation stays outside the move. We will gladly point you to the North County resources who handle each.
Price guidance
Most senior moves are smaller homes: flat-rate one-bedrooms start at $365, two-bedrooms at $575. Added sorting and downsizing time is billed honestly at $139/hr so the family sees exactly what they are paying for, with the written quote sent to whoever is coordinating.
